Fabulous Friday: Think Pink!

I have many coats. Grey, blue, brown… but I did not have a pink one. Yet. So when HEMA, one of favorite department stores had sales ánd a special offer for its loyal customers, it took my three seconds to order this pink coat.

And it is not even vintage…

A clear case of impulse buying, which is defined as “Impulsive buying is the tendency of a customer to buy goods and services without planning in advance. … Impulsive buying means making an unplanned purchase. It is based on an irrational thinking. Marketers try to tap this behavior of customers to boost sales.”

Yes, it was irrational. It was impulsive. In my case, it happened because of the three P’s: pink, price and pleasure. Guilty as charged!
