Fabulous Friday Vintage

Months ago, way before the corona crisis, I bought this taffeta coat in Rotterdam, at the Dearhunter, a wonderful, clean and charming vintage shop with an exquisite selection of clothing.

I cannot remember what I paid for it, but I know I paid 60 euro to have it altered for me (and of course you can alter it yourself as well!). Just when it was ready, the weather got really hot and I walked around in a dress only. The coat stayed in my cupboard. Today, it is a bit cooler, so it was finally time to wear the coat and have some pictures made! I combined it with high-heeled shoes and my favourite Furla pink handbag.

The coat is of the (Spanish?) brand Coco Fashion, of which I have never heard before.
I love the feel and the look of the fabric! It has a luxurious, bronze colour, and I feel very feminine and elegant when wearing it. Now that it has been altered for my body shape, it is an absolutely unique item as well.

And let’s be honest: with the economic crisis that it going to await us, I will probably not be able to afford any expensive, luxury items for a while. When I have to choose between an expensive Chanel bag and a fantastic trip, I will take the trip. Always. What would you choose?

Selfie, anyone??
