Fabulous Friday: Corona Art

Sometimes, something bad can still result in something good. Leo Heusdens of Street Art Projects came up with the idea to paint the construction fences around the post office that is being renovated. Almost all nineteen artists are self-employed and selflessly participate in painting the sixty meter long wall on the Waldorpstraat in The Hague. They want to send out a positive message in these difficult times.

I could not resist getting out of the car and admire the paintings. What a wonderful way to cheer up all people, but particularly those who have an essential profession and those working in health care.

I was moved by the paintings. Art for everyone, made by volunteering artists, for everyone to admire.

Want to see more? (Dutch only).

Outfit: vintage dress by Ralph Lauren with vintage brooch, boots by Floris van Bommel and a vintage Lamarthe bag.
